Yeah, I Watch "America's Next Top Model"
Topic: TV
One of the shows I make sure I catch every week is America's Next Top Model on UPN. I've been watching it pretty much since it first started. This year most of the girls are good looking, but there are a few that aren't so great. I guess there's more to a model than just a really pretty face.

Eva is a bitchy black girl. Then there's a blind girl. Her chances might not be so good, and a few of the judges don't understand how she would be able to make it as a model since she'll be completely blind in the future. The blind girl accused Eva of stealing stuff from her and a huge argument broke out. Its kind of nice to watch girls compete with each other and argue with each other too.

Of course, there's a girl that has a eating disorder too. One of the sad things about the modeling world is some girls think they have to starve themselves to make it as a model.

This year there's even a big black girl that so far hasn't been kicked off. She's proving that you don't have to be thin as a rail to be a model.

There have been a few girls that got kicked off because the judges found out that overall the girls didn't even want to be a real model - one girl even admitted it and that got her ass kicked off quick.

LOL, look at me talking about this show non-stop. I guess that's why I consider it a guilty pleasure. I wouldn't want to admit to everyone that I'm so into it. This show has been more fun to watch than this year's Survivor. Survivor has been kind of boring this year, plus most of the young cute girls already got kicked off quickly. So I guess part of the reason I watch it is because of the cute girls, But this group of Survivors seem boring to me.

Stern Moves to Sirius
Mood:  party time!
Howard Stern announced this week that his show will be moving to Sirius Satellite Radio starting in 2006. His fans will have to pay to hear him on Sirius, but his show will no longer have to be watered down like it currently is on FM due to FCC restrictions. Howard, Robin and the rest of his crew will be able to say what they want, and they'll know for sure that everyone will be hearing what they say unedited. On his current FM show, the radio station operators sometimes censor his show with a delay button.

The monthly subscription fee for Sirius is $12.99 per month. But there are over 100 channels to listen to on Sirius - including over 60 commerical-free music channels. ALL Sirius subscribers will be able to listen to Howard's show. Stern says there won't be any additional fee to hear him. I'll probably be a Sirius subscriber by January 2006. I'm looking forward to listening to Howard Stern's Show the way it was meant to be heard - UNCENSORED.

You might want to check out Howard Stern's Bulletin Boards. There you'll find several hundred people discussing his show and other topics 24 hours a day.

25 Years of Marriage
Mood:  happy
Topic: Personal
Just last week I was mentioning Britney's crazy idea of marriage. Well there are some people that actually stay married. I have proof: my parents! They have been married 25 years today! I am very proud of them, and I'm very thankful that I grew up having both my parents around. I read a disturbing figure that something like 50% of marriages end in divorce or separation. I don't know how true that is but it does sound about right. With so many kids growing up with broken families today, I am very glad that I was fortunate enough not to have gone through the emotional stress of my parents separating. I can honestly say that my parents seem very happy together and I'm sure their marriage will definitely last for the rest of their lifetime. Well, at least I have something to be proud of. :-)

Britney, Oh Britney...
Mood:  energetic
Now Playing: silence is golden :-)
Topic: Females
You know, I used to think Britney Spears was one of the sexiest pop stars of today. But what is she thinking lately? Better yet, what is she on? What is her idea of rushing to get married, then rushing to end the marriage nearly moments later? Now, don't get me wrong, I'm into her music. I don't enjoy her lip-synced live performances, but she's a beautiful girl. This whole idea of her being a wife though - its not working for me. I'm sure nearly all of her other male fans aren't too thrilled with it either. Let's face it - her male fans aren't listening to her for her singing - they're looking AT her for her sexy image. And does she even know anything about marriage? Look how fast she "falls in love" and gets married! Anyways this latest so-called quickie marriage is now being reported as false because there is no marriage license on file! Apparently one magazine is reporting that the whole thing was faked on purpose. I've also heard that Britney's man was tired of the press constantly following them around so they wanted to push up their wedding to an earlier date. Sure, they wanted to fool us all with a fake wedding! Now I know this is a stupid thing to talk about - but I needed material to write about on here. :-) Seriously though, Britney, wake up, you wanna make it big: you keep that sexy image and drop that "backup dancer" (or whatever the hell he is) wanting your money! To gaze at some sexy pics of Britney check out my collection.

Survivor Vanuatu
Mood:  not sure
Now Playing: Black Label Society - "House of Doom"
Topic: TV
I've been watching Survivor since the second season. The second season was my favorite. I've seen so many seasons of it I get mixed up what contestants where on which season and who won the grand prize. There was one season I didn't watch much of. Who could forget last season. Rupert was annoying! Sure he seems to have a huge fan base, but lets face it, the guy is annoying! And seeing his face show up on the promos for this latest Survivor is really irritating.

Anyways, this new season looks like it could turn out to be fairly good. There aren't many young and really cute girls this time around. I'm used to Jenna, Elisabeth, Amber and the other young beauties. [Speaking of Elisabeth I have a problem with her - she turned into such a prude now that she got a job on The View - she turned from a Survivor beauty into a married, annoying wife.] Well this season - Dolly, the blonde - doesn't look so bad (I think that's her name). It takes me a while to learn all the new names. Like a few episodes or so. And Mia looks good too. So does Eliza. So that's 3 to look at and hope they get into bikinis a lot, LOL.

If you're a big fan of Survivor, you might want to check out Blockbuster Video - they have free DVDs available that show off the new CBS season and included on the disc are interviews with all the new survivors. Other than that though the disc doesn't really have any value unless you're really interested in the new fall season on CBS or you like Everybody Loves Raymond. There's a little montage of various scenes on there from the show - since its the last season and all.
